Jung Kook’s ‘Seven’ Is Officially The Biggest Song In The World

BTS singer Jung Kook is experiencing a triumphant moment in his solo career, as his new song “Seven” claims the title of the biggest song in the world. Despite having released music outside of BTS before, the star’s latest single is being marketed as his official debut on his own, and fans from all corners of the globe are eager to support him as he embarks on this exciting journey.

Now, “Seven” has officially been named the biggest song in the world, debuting atop the Billboard Global 200, Billboard’s weekly ranking of the most-consumed songs worldwide. According to Billboard, “Seven” arrives atop the chart with an impressive 217 million plays on platforms like Spotify and Apple

His success as a member of BTS has already been historic, with the band having dominated the Billboard Global 200 tally during their heyday (they’re currently on a break). The septet has landed seven No. 1 hits on the chart, the most among all acts since the inception of the Billboard Global 200 just a few years ago. In total, BTS has sent 11 different songs into the top 10.

Including the success of “Seven,” Jung Kook has now reached the summit on the Billboard Global 200 with eight tracks and secured a spot in the top 10 with a total of 14 tunes.

“Seven” faced tough competition on the charts, with Jason Aldean’s “Try That in a Small Town” debuting at a close No. 2. The two songs also competed for the top spot on the Hot 100, and the result was the same, with Jung Kook’s “Seven” emerging as the victor on the American chart as well.
