Jisoo earns her first solo Hot 100 hit as “Eyes Closed” with Zayn debuts. Now, all four Blackpink members have reached the chart alone, joining BTS in a historic feat. As a member of Blackpink, singer Jisoo has accomplished some truly incredible feats, making history time and time again with both bestselling albums and popular singles as a soloist. However, she has historically trailed behind the other three vocalists in the South Korean girl group when it comes to solo success. Until this frame, she was the only member of the troupe who had never appeared on the Hot 100, the American ranking of the most consumed songs in the nation.
That changes this week, as her latest solo cut, “Eyes Closed,” a collaboration with former One Direction singer Zayn, debuts on the competitive tally, helping her break her unfortunate streak. With “Eyes Closed,” Jisoo not only proves her popularity, but also helps Blackpink tie the most successful name in K-pop history in a very specific achievement.
Jisoo Charts Her First Solo Hot 100 Hit
“Eyes Closed” launches on several Billboard charts this week, perhaps most impressively on the Hot 100. The Blackpink star and Zayn debut their joint cut at No. 72.
All Four Blackpink Members Have Now Reached the Hot 100
Jisoo finally catches up to her Blackpink bandmates, all of whom have scored multiple Hot 100 wins under their own names. Rosé claims the fewest among the three women, with four solo charters. That sum includes “Apt.,” a collaboration with Bruno Mars, which stands as the highest-charting hit among all songs connected to a Blackpink member.
Both Lisa and Jennie have snagged half a dozen placements each, including several in 2025.
Blackpink Joins BTS in a Historic Hot 100 Achievement
Thanks to Jisoo’s newfound success, Blackpink becomes just the second K-pop group that has landed on the main songs chart to see all of its members also place on the Hot 100. The women now match BTS, which became the first to do so — and even more impressively, with seven vocalists managing at least one win apiece.

J-Hope is the BTS star with the greatest number of Hot 100 charters, as eight tunes with his name attached have hit the tally. He’s added to that sum multiple times in 2025, and the singer could soon score a ninth smash, as his new duet with Le Sserafim, titled “Spaghetti” dropped just days ago.
Jung Kook comes next with seven charting cuts, followed by both Jimin and V with half a dozen Hot 100 successes apiece. Next up is Suga — who also releases music under the name Agust D — as the singer and rapper has racked up four appearances on the chart thus far. Jin appears after that, with three popular tunes, and band leader RM has scored the fewest, with just two titles having placed somewhere on the 100-spot ranking.
How Many Times Has Blackpink Reached the Hot 100?
As a quartet, Blackpink has broken onto the Hot 100 with 10 different tracks. That total expanded from single digits to double earlier this year when the band reunited and released the dance anthem “Jump.”
BTS claims more than two and a half times as many top performers as Blackpink, as the septet is up to 27 appearances on the roster. That total includes 10 top 10 smashes and six No. 1s.

Jisoo’s New Solo Single “Eyes Closed” Becomes a Bestseller
“Eyes Closed” performs significantly better on the other three Billboard tallies it debuts on this week, compared to the Hot 100. The track enters the Digital Song Sales chart’s loftiest arena, beginning its run at No. 7. Luminate reports that in its first full frame of availability, the cut sold just under 2,200 copies in America.
The highly-anticipated collaboration also manages to sneak into the uppermost region of the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, where it opens at No. 10. The tune doesn’t perform quite as well on the Billboard Global 200 — the truly worldwide ranking that does include U.S. data — where Jisoo and Zayn start at No. 20 with “Eyes Closed.”
