The co-founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, has stated that he is no longer a millionaire.
The present bear market has lowered the portfolio’s worth from $1.4 billion to about $600 million.
Buterin made the comment in response to a tweet in which he thanked Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos for interacting with their supporters directly. The Ethereum developer wrote in support of two billionaires:
What happened to the value of “speaking straight to the people”? (It’s also worth noting that Elon and Jeff actually reply to people rather than just shouting their own things.)

So, how can we figure out how much money Buterin has left? The benefit of blockchain technology is that it can be traced back to its source.
According to this information, he presently has 290,000 ETH in his wallet. Their current market worth is little about $600 million.
In November of last year, ETH, like Bitcoin, reached a new high.
The value of the second-largest cryptocurrency varied between $4,900 and $4,900. By multiplying that figure by 290,000, it becomes clear that Buterin had a net worth of $1.4 billion at the time.
The founder now has roughly 42% of its potential value left. Let’s not get too worked up about him just yet; he still has a lot of money.
However, he is no longer a member of the “three-comma club,” a term used by Dogecoin’s founder.

In an interview with Time Magazine published on Friday, Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, expressed concern about tendencies he has noticed in the industry, warning the outlet that “crypto itself has a lot of dystopian potentials if applied incorrectly.”
Vitalik Buterin is a Russian-Canadian programmer and writer who has been active in the Bitcoin ecosystem since 2011, co-founding Bitcoin magazine and contributing articles to it.
