Here Are The Results Of The MLB Home Run Derby:

Seattle Mariners catcher, Cal Raleigh won the MLB Home Run Derby.

Raleigh is the first major league catcher to ever win the Derby.

The Major League Baseball Home Run Derby was held July 14, 2025, in conjunction with All Star Week in Atlanta.

The Derby was conducted at Truist Park, the home of the Atlanta Braves, and the venue for the July 15, 2025 All Star Game.

The winner of the Derby gets $1M

The Derby had three rounds.

In the first round, the player with the top four home run totals advance to the next round.

In the second round, the No. 1 hitter faced the No. 4 hitter. The No. 2 hitter faced the No. 3 hitter.

The winners of the semifinal rounds advanced to the finals.

Here is the order in which the participants batted in the initial round.

1-James Wood, Washington Nationals

2-Brent Rooker, Athletics

3- Junior Caminero, Tampa Bay Rays

4- Oneil Cruz, Pittsburgh Pirates

5- Byron Buxton, Minnesota Twins

6- Jazz Chisholm Jr., New York Yankees

7- Cal Raleigh, Seattle Mariners

8- Matt Olson, Atlanta Braves.

RESULTS OF ROUND 1-’(three minutes each+ distance bonuses, or 40 balls used)

James Wood-16 homers, with one going 486 feet

Brent Rooker-17 homers, with one going 470.53 feet

Junior Caminero-21 homers, with one going 475 feet

Oneil Cruz-21 homers, with one going 513 feet

Byron Buxton-20 homers, with one going 466 feet

Jazz Chisholm Jr.-3 homers, with one going 453 feet

Cal Raleigh-17 homers, with one going 470.61 feet#

Matt Olson-15 homers, with one going 460 feet

#Cal Raleigh’s longest home run went a bit longer than Brent Rooker. That extra length eliminated Rooker from the next round.

Caminero, Cruz, Buxton, and Raleigh move to the next round.

There are two groups in the Semifinals. One from each group goes to the finals.
