Entering the 2023 Grammy Awards, Harry Styles was one of the most-nominated musicians. To the surprise of many, he walked away with two trophies, including the highly coveted Album of the Year, a category that had been widely predicted to go to Beyoncé. Now, as the end of the eligibility period for the next Grammy Awards draws near, Styles finds himself once again eligible for recognition. The question remains: will voters continue to reward him for his musical achievements?
While Harry Styles doesn’t have a new album to contend for the top honor this time around, several singles from his full-length Harry’s House appear to be strong contenders. These tracks are likely to be submitted for consideration and vie for recognition in various categories, but which one will come out on top is anybody’s guess.

Throughout 2023, Styles focused his promotional efforts on the song “Satellite” from his album Harry’s House. In mid-May, it was chosen as the latest single to receive a push from the album. How it will perform a year after its initial release remains to be seen.
If Styles decides not to prioritize “Satellite,” there is another potential song from Harry’s House that he could share with Grammy voters in hopes of garnering more nominations. “Music for a Sushi Restaurant” was selected and released as a single just days after eligibility for the 2024 awards opened. It gained significant traction in America, breaking into the top 10 upon the album’s release. Although its performance waned as an official single months later, it’s still a hit from a major star, so it’s not smart to count it out.

Styles’ lead single from Harry’s House, “As It Was,” seemed poised to win Record of the Year in 2023. However, the award ultimately went to Lizzo’s “About Damn Time.” Considering voters’ apparent affinity for Styles’ throwback sound and aesthetic, there is reason to believe that one of his eligible songs may secure a nomination in the Best Pop Solo Performance category. Styles has already won that Grammy once, in 2021, with “Watermelon Sugar,” and he competed again in the same category with “As It Was.”
While it is also possible that either “Satellite” or “Music for a Sushi Restaurant” could be contenders for Record and/or Song of the Year, these nominations may be more of a stretch compared to the pop field. Whether or not voters love Styles enough to bring him back for more Grammy recognition will be revealed later this year when nominations are announced, likely in November or December, though the official date has not yet been set.
