Halo Infinite’s Halloween event adds new maps and a new mode

The limited-time Operation: Halloween event in Halo Infinite introduced the new “Survive the Undead” mode that will run until November 5th. Halo collaborated with the Forge Falcons to develop the new zombie-themed game mode and maps. In the new mode, players will work alongside their team to face endless rounds of zombie hordes. The mode will offer players a new experience via the PvE perspective reminiscent of the fan-favorite CoD Zombies game mode. Players can fight extensively, with their only objective being to survive the waves of zombies for as long as possible.

The Halloween event will also feature three new maps released for the spooky season. The first of the three titled maps is “Night of the Undead,” a map recreated from the Nacht Der Untoten map from COD Zombies. The second map is the Countdown of the Undead, created by altering the Countdown from Halo: Reach. The final map included is “Installation of the Undead,” an entirely new setting specifically created for this event. The event will be available for Xbox consoles and PC players via Xbox Game Pass and Steam.

Halo Infinite’s Halloween event will also include 20 tiers of rewards available for the next month. The rewards enable players to earn spartan points as well as other items. The available items in the rewards are the Pestilent Winds which is exclusively attained via purchasing a Premium Pass, The free unlocked themed armor rewards include the Jolly Roger unlocked at tier 1, and the Monster Guards unlocked at tier 5. The armor set also includes the Reanimation Rig unlocked at tier 10, the Creature Comfort unlocked at tier 15, Patchwork Pauldrons unblocked at tier 18, and the Spartenstein helmet unlocked at tier 20.
