Gemini has officially added support for RLUSD, Ripple’s stablecoin, allowing users to trade, deposit, and withdraw the asset on the platform.
The news was confirmed in a recent update from the exchange, marking another step in RLUSD’s expanding market presence.
Earlier in the day, Gemini posted a cryptic message that quickly caught the attention of the crypto community.
The sentence—“futures are brighteR when we buiLd Up System that upgraDe finance”—raised eyebrows due to its oddly capitalized letters, which appeared to spell out “RLUSD.”
The subtle hint sparked speculation that an announcement was imminent.
Digital asset commentator Amelie shared the post on social media, suggesting Gemini was teasing the listing in advance. Although the exchange hasn’t confirmed whether the coded message was deliberate, the stablecoin’s listing is now official.
With Gemini’s support, RLUSD is currently available on 15 different trading platforms, signaling growing acceptance for Ripple’s stablecoin in the crypto ecosystem.
