The UFC 317 pay-per-view fight card takes place this weekend. The event, which features two title fights at the top of the marquee, takes place on Saturday, June 28, from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. While the spotlight will shine brightest on the top two fights on the card, Ilia Topuria vs. Charles Oliveira and Alexandre Pantoja vs. Kai Kara-France at the top of the card, we want to prepare fans for all 12 UFC 317 matchups. A former Cage Warriors middleweight titleholder, Jack Hermansson (24-8) has been with the UFC since 2016. While the 37-year-old has had an up-and-down run with the promotion, Hermansson has never lost two fights in a row under the UFC banner. He avoided that fate in February 2024 when he picked up a decision win over Joe Pyfer in the main event of a UFC Fight Night Card. With that win, Hermansson enters UFC 317 on a 5-4 run dating back to 2019, alternating wins and losses.
Gregory Rodrigues (16-6) was the LFA middleweight champ before he joining the UFC in 2021. Rodrigues has a UFC record of 7-3 heading into UFC 317. The 33-year-old was on a three-fight winning streak heading into his most recent bout, a February 2025 matchup opposite Jared Cannonier at the top of a UFC Fight Night card. While Rodrigues shared in the “Fight of the Night” bonus that night, he was on the wrong-end of his fourth career knockout loss.
The betting odds for this scrap saw Rodrigues open as a -235 betting favorite over the +200 Hermansson. Those odds are still in favor of Rodrigues (-208), while Hermansson is listed as the +178 betting underdog.
It’s worth considering the fights these two last competed in because this could look like those fights. The only difference being this is a three-round affair an those were five rounders. If Hermansson can survive the power of Rodrigues, he can win, if Rodrigues has worked on his cardio, he could win.
The pick is for Gregory Rodrigues to win via decision.

In this 145-pound scrap we have Hyder Amil (11-0) vs. Jose Miguel Delgado (9-1). Amil is a product of the Dana White’s Contender Series, picking up his contract in 2023. Since then, he is 3-0 in the UFC with two knockouts, and most recently a split-decision win. Delgado, a product of the 2024 edition of the DWCS, is 1-0 with the UFC, earning a knockout victory in his UFC debut. All of Delgado’s wins have come via finish (five knockouts, four subs), while Amil has six knockouts, one submission and four decisions.
The opening odds had Amil as the -131 favorite over the +111 Delgado. The line has flipped on this matchup. Today, Delgado is a -170 favorite over the +145 Amil.
We have not seen Delgado tested by UFC-level competition. That will change on Saturday. Because of that, the pick is Amil to win via decision.

In this contest we have two ranked women’s flyweight competitors. Viviane Araujo (13-6) is the No. 8 125-pound contender, while Tracy Cortez (11-2) checks in at No. 10 in the division.
Araujo enters UFC 317 coming off a November decision win over Karine Silva, while Cortez comes into International Fight Week following the first loss of her career, a July 2024 main event decision loss to former UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas.
A lack of experience cost Cortez in that Namajunas fight, she’s had nearly a year to work on upping her game, but she is entering this matchup coming off a surgery that knocked her out of a reported December booking opposite Miranda Maverick.
Araujo opened as a +175 betting underdog to the -205 Cortez. Today, Cortez is -255 over the +215 Araujo.
Araujo is a live dog because she’s the better striker, but she has a tendency to fade as her fights wear on, with that, Cortez could take over with her wrestling. The pick is Cortez via decision.

Opening the UFC 317 prelims is a lightweight matchup between Terrance McKinney and Viacheslav Borshchev. McKinney (16-7) has been with the UFC since 2021. He is coming off a February TKO win over Damir Hadzovic, and is 6-4 with the UFC. Borshchev (8-5-1) made his UFC debut in 2022. He is 3-4-1 with the promotion. In his most recent fight, Borshchev lost a decision to Tom Nolan at UFC 312.
The opening betting odds had McKinney as the -200 favorite over the +170 Borshchev. Today, McKinney is -170, while Borshchev is the +145 betting underdog.
McKinney has never been the distance in the UFC. The question facing him is, can he get Borshchev out of the fight? Well, the only one who has finished Borshchev has been Chase Hooper and McKinney is not the grappler that Hooper is.
The pick is Borshchev by knockout over a gassed McKinney after ther first round.
