FTX founder and CEO Sam Bankman-Fried will be among more than 100 crypto industry leaders set to feature at this year’s SmartCon 2022, a conference organised by Chainlink (LINK).
The week-long event is a premier Web3 conference that brings together the world’s leading developers, innovators and entrepreneurs. For 2022, the main theme will be the future of Web3, according to a press release on Tuesday.

In its third year, the in-person conference will feature Sam Bankman-Fried – a crypto billionaire whose efforts to save some of the struggling crypto companies have earned him accolades from across the space.
The FTX CEO will grace the event alongside the likes of Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov and ex-Coinbase CTO Balaji Srinivasan.
Also set to speak at the September 2022 event – scheduled for the 28-29 in New York, United States – is Jonathan Ehrenfeld, currently SWIFT Strategy Director.
Earlier this month, Nazarov shared that he looked forward to discussing Chainlink smart contracts and even dive into “philosophical questions about life.”
