Freeform’s dedicated Halloween offerings used to run for only two weeks but the streamer has grown by leaps and bounds since then. Now it offers a full month of scary – and not so scary – stories for the Millennial set and possibly their favorite mentee or kid.
Halloween classics like Hocus Pocus, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas and Beetlejuice join newer, more adult horror favs like A Quiet Place and Get Out on the streamer in a series of binge-worthy blocks of time that cover the entire month. Many of the movies will repeat, so fanatics have an opportunity to watch certain films over and over. And newbies to the genre have a curated chance to get all caught up.
I personally appreciate the sprinkling of kids fare in the mix, from Decorating Disney: Halloween Magic to various Shrek films to Night at the Museum: Secret
