Disney and Formula 1 announced their highly anticipated collaboration will kick off at the Las Vegas Grand Prix this November.

Formula 1 is leaning into Americana more than ever before ahead of this year’s Las Vegas Grand Prix. Recently, the Las Vegas Grand Prix announced a unique partnership with the Walt Disney Company to provide not just exclusive merchandise surrounding the third Formula 1 race in America this year, but a plethora of at-track activations.
“Our collaboration with Disney builds on a shared passion for storytelling, innovation and creating memorable moments,” Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Formula 1 and President and CEO of Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc., said “As we look ahead to the global Disney’s Mickey & Friends and Formula 1 launch in 2026, the Fuel the Magic program will bring two iconic brands together to give fans of all ages a race weekend filled with creativity, entertainment and a touch of magic.”
The Disney partnership will be quite unique, as Mickey Mouse, playing the role of maestro, will appear on stage by the Fountains of Bellagio with isney Live Entertainment. The show will boast Disney’s traditional pyrotechnics and music.
Additionally, Disney debuted a special Formula 1 merchandise collection this weekend, available at the Las Vegas track and online. Thus far, there are eight products available, creating a unique combination of racing with Mickey and Friends. According to HypeBeast, there will be 25 total items, created by the team led by Bobby Kim, vice president of creative for the Americas at Disney Consumer Products.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix, which will be held on the evening of Saturday, Nov. 22, will have countless Disney themes, as well.
Race-day activities will include a performance by the Disneyland Band, which will will play the National Anthem. Mickey and Friends will also be taking a stroll down the Formula 1 grid prior to qualifying.
The partnership between Disney and Formula 1 is an expansion of their current relationship, as Disney holds the rights to Formula 1 broadcasts through the end of the 2025 season.
Formula 1, however, recently inked a five-year deal with Apple TV to be the new broadcaster for the series. This expansion of the existing partnership will continue, as Disney previously announced a different type of agreement with Formula 1 in 2026.
