Floki Inu Holders Finally Receive Simons Cat $CAT Airdrop

Simon’s Cat ($CAT), a popular cryptocurrency inspired by a cartoon series has completed its highly anticipated Airdrop that is eligible for Floki Inu holders. The airdrop was directly distributed to the wallets on platforms like Binance and OKX. This initiative rewards $FLOKI holders with $CAT tokens without requiring them to claim the rewards, making it a hassle-free airdrop. 

Airdrop Breakdown and the Criteria

  • With 492K $FLOKI holders, only a subset of holders were made eligible for the airdrop. The criteria stated that the holders needed to have a minimum of 400,000 $FLOKI to qualify.
  • The $CAT tokens were distributed based on the amount of the $FLOKI token held by the user. 
  • Two snapshots were taken, the first snapshot was taken at 12:00:00 UTC on August 22, 2024, while a final was taken at 23:59:59 UTC on August 29, 2024. $CAT tokens were also distributed based on these snapshots. 
  • 3.5% of the $CAT total supply was airdropped to the $FLOKI holders.

Additional Airdrops 

  • 1.5% of the $CAT supply is allocated exclusively for the Floki Trading Bot users and is to be distributed over the next 30-day period. 
  • $CAT airdrops with other top CEXs is also in the pipeline and it is anticipated that the other details regarding these airdrops will be announced soon. 

This airdrop is going to help both $CAT and $FLOKI in various ways. This move is going to increase engagement on both platforms as this is a cross-community move, with widespread distribution of the tokens there could be the acquisition of new users on both projects which will promote ecosystem growth, the possibility of increased liquidity on both the sides, and ultimately benefiting both the projects.
