Rumours by Fleetwood Mac is one of the few albums that can be counted on to appear on the charts in the United Kingdom and the United States every week. Some frames are bigger than others for the decades-old classic, and the beloved pop-rock set is in the midst of yet another surge as it becomes a top 10 bestseller once more.
Rumours Jumps Back Into the Top 10
On the Official Vinyl Albums chart, the United Kingdom’s ranking of the bestselling titles on wax, Rumours is a top 10 win again. The project leaps nine spots to land at No. 10, doing so 110 weeks into its time on the roster.
Rumours Has Never Hit No. 1
Amazingly, after so much time — and even though it appears inside the uppermost region right now — Rumours has never led the charge. The blockbuster has come close, though, as it’s stalled at No. 2.
Fleetwood Mac’s Classic Almost Reaches the Top 10 on Several Lists
Rumours also nearly breaks back into the top 10 on two other rosters, climbing to No. 11 from No. 17 on the Official Albums chart. The classic, which has already hit No. 1 on the list, has spent 10 times as long on the ranking of the most consumed projects in the country compared to the vinyl list, with 1,109 frames somewhere on the tally to its credit.
A Top 20 Smash on Several Rosters
Across the Atlantic, Rumours sits inside the top 20 on the Official Albums Streaming, Official Albums Sales, and Official Physical Albums charts, rising to Nos. 16 and 19 on the latter two. It only misses that region on the Official Album Downloads roster, coming in at No. 22 — an impressive placement for any set that’s now earned 435 stays on the list.
Rumours, Greatest Hits and 50 Years – Don’t Stop
Rumours is one of three albums by Fleetwood Mac that live on multiple charts in the U.K. this period. Greatest Hits reappears on two rankings and rises on a third, while 50 Years – Don’t Stop is present inside the top five on both the Official Albums and Official Albums Streaming charts.
