‘Final Destination Bloodlines’ Streaming Rental Price Drops Big

The horror hit Final Destination Bloodlines is now available on digital streaming for a lot less.

The sixth chapter in the Final Destination film series was released in theaters on May 16. The official logline for Final Destination Bloodlines reads, “Plagued by a recurring violent nightmare, a college student returns home to find the one person who can break the cycle and save her family from the horrific fate that inevitably awaits them.”

Directed by Zach Liposky and Adam Stein, Final Destination Bloodlines stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana as the college student Stefani Reyes, who discovers her horrific recurring nightmare is actually the premonition of her future grandmother, Iris (Brec Bassinger) experienced atop a Seattle Space Needle-like structure before its collapse in the late 1960s.

Unlike the previous Final Destination Bloodlines films, however, death not only comes for the specific individuals who cheated death, but for generations of relatives in the survivors’ bloodlines. Using Iris’ old newspaper clippings to validate the seemingly never-ending string of violent deaths, Stefani and her surviving family members desparately begin to look for a way to break the morbid cycle.

Rated R, Final Destination Bloodlines also stars Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore and the late Tony Todd.

Now, however, the rental and purchase prices for Final Destination Bloodlines have been slashed. The Directors Of ‘Final Destinations Bloodlines’ Wanted Some Deaths To Feel Plausible

While the chances of anybody suffering the fate that Iris avoided in the harrowing opening scene of Final Destination Bloodlines are slim to none, directors Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky made it a point to not let audiences off easy with every death in the film.

As such, the filmmakers layered some plausible death scenes in Final Destination Bloodlines that are rooted in everyday occurrences to give their audiences some food for thought.

“Everyone has that feeling all day of, “Oh, this is a little off, but it’ll be fine,’ like every time you get on a plane to every time you walk across the street to every time you take a subway,” Lipovsky, alongside Stein, said in a Zoom conversation prior to the release of the film in theaters.

“There are small things in your everyday life where there’s this voice that’s like, ‘Eh? It’ll be all right,’” Lipovsky said. “So, every time we had that feeling we went, ‘You know what? What if it wasn’t, right? Let’s put that in the movie, so you constantly have this awareness.’

“What makes this movie work is that there are these very relatable, everyday things that everyone experiences,” the director added. “Everyone’s tried to light a barbecue that’s not quite lighting, you know?”
