FC Barcelona have offered three big first team stars to Chelsea for the PremierPINC
League giants to sign.

The two clubs have been rivals in the transfer market this summer, with Chelsea having offers accepted for Raphinha and Jules Kounde by their clubs only for the players to hold out and wait for Barca to come in for them.

Both of these names ended up later accepting Barca’s proposal, but relations between the two outfits reportedly remain cordial, which has led to the Catalans offering Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Frenkie de Jong and Memphis Depay to the west Londoners.

This has been reported by the Evening Standard in the English capital, who say that it remains unlcear whether the Blues will approach any of the trio – though rival outlets in Catalonia and the UK have made it clear that interest in Frenkie de Jong is concrete.

As per Aubameyang, he only joined Barca in the winter transfer window but the arrival of Robert Lewandowski has him considering his future at Camp Nou.

Furthermore, he also has a positive relationship with Thomas Tuchel from their time together at Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga, where Tuchel also oversaw another past Chelsea target in Ousmane Dembele who recently renewed his contract with the Blaugrana.

Like Aubemyang, Depay’s place in Xavi Hernandez’s squad is also uncertain given the arrivals of not just Lewandowski but also Raphinha.

And with Tuchel stating he is happy with his attack after landing Raheem Sterling, the two players are likely to be lower down on the German’s shortlist.

Of the three players, a coup for De Jong is the most probable with several outlets saying that Chelsea have permission to directly negotiate with the player and convince him to switch allegiances with the offer of Champions League football swinging heavily in their favor.

In any event, the Evening Standard say that Chelsea have been asked “to be kept informed about the situations regarding Aubameyang and De Jong, as well as Depay”, with the La Liga season set to get underway the weekend after next in Spain as the window closes a fortnight later on September 1.
