In short, the Paulistas sold Gabriel Barbosa to Inter Milan without letting the Catalans consider him first, and therefore offered a look at the duo who impressed last season as a way of avoiding a fine of around $3.4mn.
According to UOL, though, the Blaugrana are taking their hunt over to Rio de Janeiro where 17-year-old Vasco da Gama midfielder Andrey Santos has caught their eye.

Turning 18 in May, Santos has also come to attention in the Copinha. Though there is a current $33.6mn release clause in his contract, it is believed that Vaso would let him go for around $7-8mn.
According to a fan site, the Papo na Colina, Santos might already be negotiating a new contract that will increase these values, as he prepares to join the first team currently playing in the Serie B and trying to return to the Brasileirao.
