Farcana receives funding from Animoca Brands

Farcana, a startup involved in gaming, has received funding from Animoca Brands. Farcana operates in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Animoca Brands is a prime company in furthering digital property rights with regard to gaming and the metaverse. This is for boosting Farcana’s beta deliverance and the development associated with the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Farcana has been developed with Unreal Engine 5 and is a third-party shooter that provides competitions supported by permanent Bitcoin prize pools. It will be one of the initial AAA Web3 games to bring in its Free Mint Bitcoin character. More than 40,000 users are already drawn towards the game, and plans are afoot to organize fresh tournaments depending on Dubai’s first phase of playtests.

A major portion of the funding will be diverted toward advancing Farcana’s incorporation into the Bitcoin ecosystem. In the meantime, the project is preparing a token release, along with a complete game, in the early part of 2024.

Animoca Brands, a prime player in the Web3 space, is in Hong Kong. The company has been associated with Farcana on tokenomics and go-to-market schemes from the 2nd quarter of 2023. Its funding activity ensures its increased traction in the MENA arena after the company’s forging of an alliance with NEOM of Saudi Arabia.

Towards the beginning of the month, the Crown Prince of Dubai, HH Sheikh Hamdan, introduced the Dubai program for Gaming 2023. The aim was to identify talent, content and technology for boosting the UAE and Dubai’s digital economy. Farcana connects it all with a shared mission involving them all.

Farcana is a free-to-play team-oriented potential and strategized shooter game created on Unreal Engine 5. Its eyes are on 4v4 gameplay, individualistic nature potential, and a Bitcoin prize mechanism.
