Everything Coming To Netflix In March 2023 And What To Watch

February is a short month but it’s gone by even faster than usual. Maybe time flies when you’re basically snowed in all the time, like I have been up in the mountains of Northern Arizona this winter. Maybe it’s just getting older, time changes, speeds up and it all just blurs together.

In any case, cold weather is a great excuse to stay inside and watch Netflix shows and movies, and next month the streaming service is adding a ton of new content for your viewing pleasure. If you’re a fan of the Chronicles of Riddick films, a bunch of those sci-fi/horror flicks are being added this month. Also, curiously, on March 10th a ton of exercise videos are coming to Netflix. Get fit, get swole, all from the comfort of your living room!

Here are some of the biggest titles coming to Netflix in March, 2023 followed by the Big List.

Chris Rock: Selective Outrage (March 4th)

The big special unique thing about the upcoming Chris Rock special is that unlike most Netflix comedy specials, this is the “first global live event” on the streaming service. Rock will do his comedy routine live in front of a global audience. Let’s just hope Will Smith isn’t nearby.

You: Season 4 Part 2 (March 9th)

I’ve only seen the first half (or so) of the first season of this show and wasn’t super impressed. It’s an interesting premise but it seemed to rely heavily on people being very, very stupid for it to work. I mean, sure, people are often very stupid, but that’s not the best way to write a compelling thriller. I hear it gets better, which explains why it’s still so popular and Netflix didn’t cancel it right away, but you tell me. Am I missing anything here? Let me know on Twitter or Facebook.

Luther: The Fallen Sun (March 10th)

Have you ever wanted to watch Idris Elba face-off against Andy Serkis? I actually hadn’t ever thought about it before hearing about Luther: Fallen Sun, but now I definitely feel the need to catch up on Luther the Netflix crime series so I can watch Luther: Fallen Sun, the Netflix film.

Outlast (March 10th)

Basically Survivor but in Alaska and streaming on Netflix. These shows are pretty stupid but can be entertaining in their own stupid way, and it’s a pretty great name for a survival reality TV show. I wonder if the contestants are as whiny as the Netflix Squid Game reality contestants?

Shadow And Bone Season 2 (March 16th)

I’ve heard such mixed things about this fantasy series, but it’s the rare gem—especially for YA fantasy—that Netflix didn’t cancel so I figure I should just watch Season 1 and catch up for Season 2. Dear God, please give me 12 hours more each day so that I can catch up on everything, especially sleep!

The Magician’s Elephant (March 17th)

Based on the book by Kate DiCamillo (who wrote the wonderful Tale of Despereaux) this adaptation looks incredibly charming. A magician’s trick gone wrong leads to a young boy befriending a mysterious elephant and sets out to perform three impossible tasks set by a king. The modern-day fairy tell goes on from there with a magical journey that should be fun for the whole family.

Murder Mystery 2 (March 31st)

I didn’t watch the first Adam Sandler / Jennifer Aniston Murder Mystery because, well, I guess it looked bad. But I do like both Sandler and Aniston reasonably well (even if I’m more into earlier Sandler films like Happy Gilmore than his later work) so maybe one of these days I’ll watch the first one. And then maybe one of these days I’ll watch this one.
