Even Mandalorian Star Ming-Na Wen Is Playing ‘Elden Ring’

Everybody is playing Elden Ring these days, and there’s a good reason for that: It’s one of the best video games ever made.

Ming-Ma Wen stars in the game’s latest live-action hype trailer. Fans of The Mandalorian and The Book Of Boba Fett will recognize the actor for her role as the assassin Fennec Shand—sniper supreme and Boba Fett’s right-hand woman.

In the live-action trailer, she’s just a lowly Tarnished on a quest to become the Elden Lord. Check it out:

So yeah, a little cheesy and far from the best Souls trailer (ahem) but it’s still fun to see the ageless Ming-Na Wen hype such a hype-worthy game.

Elden Ring is not only the best-reviewed game in FromSoftware’s ‘Soulsborne’ franchise, it’s the best-reviewed video game of 2022. While there have been some very legitimate complaints about its PC port and networking issues, the review scores are absolutely justified. It’s gobsmackingly brilliant. I haven’t had this much fun playing a video game in years.
