ETHDenver recorded a huge success in its recent edition, with over 15,000 participants recording their names from 115 different countries. This is a 50% increase in comparison to the previous year. Reportedly, it suffices the purpose of considering global expansion by exploring several territories to host the event.
ETHDenver going global will connect the entire crypto community to the core ideologies of the team. It has been restricted to Denver; however, a 50% increase signals that there are people willing to participate, provided blockchain conferences happen at a place convenient to them. There were nearly 15,000 participants in Denver, and there could be more if the other locations are indeed explored in the right fashion.
All the participants entered under the open-for-all concept. This covers users and developers, basically anyone who is interested in talking about the future of Web3 and innovation in the crypto sphere. Fascinating, the event was hosted by blockchain companies and funded entirely by the community. Over 6,000 developers submitted their projects for review, out of which 18 finalists secured a reward of $100,000.
All the crypto enthusiasts who have a keen eye for the future of the crypto ecosystem are keeping a close eye on this blockchain conference to get all the upcoming updates. Since they managed to expand their network and gain insights on how to progress with their projects, on a positive note, one might assume, and rightly so, especially because the aim was also to impart the opportunities that can be brought by them.
Additionally, 62 sponsors rolled out a total bounty of $1 million. This was distributed among 180 bounties to the developers.
This is definitely not going to be the end; ETHDenver has announced that it is now looking to go global with its event with the objective of attracting more developers and participants. The ultimate agenda will be to take forward the legacy of web3 and cryptocurrency.
John Poller, the Founder of ETHDenver, said that it was invigorating to see how far everyone has come with their journeys in a year. John also acknowledged that speakers and winners were incredible with their energies in ETHDenver.
#BUIDLathon happened, giving a great look at the future of crypto with projects that have the potential to go strong in the days to come. Finance, NFTs, and infrastructure were demonstrated to the best of their capabilities.
Paller has expressed hopes on behalf of the ETHDenver team stating that 2024 could bring more possibilities and locations to expand across the globe.
There are many more blockchain conferences to look around. Crypto Bahamas, for one, will be held from March 17, 2023, to March 20, 2023, in Baha Mar Nassau. Others on the list are the fifth edition of the Blockchain International Scientific Conference and Crypto Expo Bucharest, to mention a few.
Web3 and crypto innovation are likely to remain at the center with a slight deflection to the surrounding areas if the region is not well-equipped with the basics of the main topic.
More projects and bounties can be expected with ETHDenver crossing its borders nationally and internationally.
