On the latest edition of the Hot Trending Songs chart, Billboard’s weekly list of the tracks that millions of music lovers all around the world can’t stop tweeting about, BTS returns to the summit with their smash “Butter.” As the cut surges back to No. 1, it ties with SB19’s “Bazinga” as the longest-running leader ever. A little further down on the ranking, just one tune breaks into the top 10 for the first time, and the band behind the rising composition improves their standing as one of the most successful artists ever on the new chart.
Enhypen pushes their single “Polaroid Love” to No. 7 on this week’s Hot Trending Songs chart, and the cut becomes a top 10 hit for the first time. Last frame, it opened at No. 15, and now it’s become a proper social smash for the band. With another placement between Nos. 1 and 10 to their credit, Enhypen ties with one other act for the second-most top 10s in the ranking’s months-long history.
“Polaroid Love” is Enhypen’s third top 10 hit on the Hot Trending Songs chart. Now that they’ve added another win to their growing total, the band ties with fellow South Korean superstars Stray Kids for the most appearances inside the loftiest space on the tally, with three apiece.
Enhypen’s highest-ranking single thus far in the months Billboard has been publishing the Hot Trending Songs chart remains “Blessed-Cursed.” That track rose as high as No. 4, beating fellow cut “Tamed-Dashed” by just one space, as that title stalled at No. 5. Now, “Polaroid Love” has become their third, and, thus far, their lowest-peaking top 10 hit on the list.
The only musical act that has managed more top 10 hits on the Hot Trending Songs chart than both Enhypen and Stray Kids is BTS, and they are only winning by one track. The globe-dominating pop band claims two of the three tunes that have conquered the list, as both “Permission to Dance” and “Butter” have spent time at No. 1. Fellow smashes “My Universe” with Coldplay and “Dynamite” topped out at Nos. 2 and 9, respectively.
In addition to their trio of top 10-charters on the Hot Trending Songs ranking, Enhypen has placed three other tunes somewhere on the 20-spot tally. “Upper Side Dreamin’” nearly entered the space, missing out on the region by one rung. Two other cuts by the K-pop band, “Go Big Or Go Home” and “Blockbuster,” peaked at Nos. 16 and 18, respectively. Enhypen claims the most hits on the social chart among all acts.
