Donald Trump Returns to Twitter as Musk Lifts Ban

Elon Musk is globally popular for his impactable work in the E-vehicles manufacturing sector and also holds a million-dollar company known as Tesla. 

Recently Musk acquired Twitter for 44 billion U.S Dollars and made unprecedented changes in the leading social media platform. 

When Twitter was established, it did not charge any charges for verifying users’ profiles. Still, after the musk takeover, it was announced that $8 would be charged for verifying the profile. 

Earlier on January 6, 2021, the Twitter account of Donald Trump was banned after the attack on the Capitol. Still, on November 19, 2022, Musk organised a Twitter poll regarding the reinstatement of Trump’s Twitter. 

The voting poll results were quite astonishing, as 15 million Twitter users participated in the poll and over 51.8% of the users voted in favour of Trump’s reinstatement on Twitter.          

On November 16, 2022, Elon Musk posted that Punting relaunch of Blue Verified to November 29 to make sure that it is rock solid.  

According to a reliable report, Donald Trump has around 88 million followers on Twitter, but while writing this article, Trump’s Twitter account has 87.3M followers.     

According to reliable sources, Donald Trump does not believe crypto is a safe and reliable investment, but on the other hand, Musk is a crypto evangelist and a Dogecoin promoter.   

After Elon joined the team Twitter as director of Twitter, he fired several board members, including Parag Agarwal(Chief Executive Officer), Ned Segal(Chief Financial Officer), and Vijay Gadde (Head of Legal Policies). 

Twitter will likely undergo many changes in the coming times, and it is believed that the user rate of Twitter will decrease after these severe changes. 

It is also believed that after these changes, people will quit Twitter and start opting for the Mastodon platform.  

Recently In a filing with FinCEN(U.S Treasury Department Financial Crimes Enforcement Network), Twitter filed its application to become a money service business.

According to a research report, approximately 900k users recently deactivated their Twitter accounts and opposed the platform and its new owner for charging verification fees.

The account suspension rate on Twitter which was mostly recorded was between October 27 to November 1.

Last Sunday, November 20, 2022, a globally popular American rapper returned to Twitter and posted a tweet in which he noted that “Testing Testing Seeing if my Twitter is unblocked.”

Moreover, it is likely believed that in the upcoming time, many other banned users and popular personalities will be permitted to reuse Twitter.
