Did Jessi Cheat On Jordan In ‘Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives’? Here’s If They’re Still Together Now

After last season’s explosive allegation that Jessi Ngatikaura had an affair with Vanderpump Villa’s Marciano Brunette, Season 3 jumps right into the cheating scandal and the challenges in her marriage to her husband, Jordan Ngatikaura.

In the new season of Hulu’s reality series following Utah-based TikTok influencers, out Nov. 13, the 33-year-old salon owner and beauty entrepreneur opens up about her relationship struggles and directly addresses the cheating claims involving the Vanderpump Villa star.

While members of MomTok initially believe the affair was between Marciano and their controversial co-star Demi Engemann, that turns out not to be the case. In Episode 2, Jessi reads some of the texts between her and Marciano in an attempt to prove they never had sex. Marciano even agrees to take a lie detector test with her.

Jordan later addresses the cheating allegations with the group when MomTok and DadTok come over for a barbecue without Jessi there. The father of three admits that he “acted extremely poorly” in their marriage and that “it made us get to a place where it was extremely toxic.” He adds that his behavior did not justify her affair and acknowledges there were “bad things on both sides.”

Why Did Jessi Cheat On Jordan?

Jessi claimed that she cheated on her husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, after suffering “emotional abuse” in their toxic relationship. The couple tied the knot in October 2020 after he proposed earlier that year. They share two children, Jagger, 5, and Jovi, 2, as well as Jordan’s 13-year-old daughter, Peyton, from a previous relationship.

“As soon as it [the abuse] started happening, I was like, ‘Oh, this isn’t super normal,’ but also, you’re kind of used to it. It starts off slow,” she told People. “It’s not like one big dramatic thing happens. It’s little behaviors over time, and then all of a sudden you look back and you’re too deep in it and you can’t do much about it.”

Jessi recalled that, over time, she began to recognize the abuse, eventually experiencing a “glass-breaking” moment in Season 3 when she realized she had to take action or nothing would change.

In Season 3, Jessie and Jordan agreed to a 90-day separation, during which they laid out ground rules and worked together in therapy to discuss the issues that led to this breaking point in their marriage.

“I would say we both made mistakes for sure,” Jessi acknowledged to the site. “Mine being the affair and his being the emotional abuse, but I think it takes two to tango. And having that toxic dynamic definitely got me into the mindset of where I was and why I did what I did.”

Ultimately, the hairstylist told the publication that she takes full ownership and accountability for cheating on Jordan and that she “shouldn’t have done it.”

“I wish I never had, and I hope Jordan feels the same about how he treated me for a while. But yes, it took both of us to get there,” she added. “I think having it come out publicly was a good wake-up call for us because it got us help. We’ve been in therapy, and it’s been something we’ve been working on ever since.”

What Has Jordan Said About The Situation?

Jordan took “full accountability” for the pain he caused Jessi during their marriage in a statement to People, which was published alongside her interview.

“At that time in my life, I was deeply unhealed, and as the saying goes, hurt people hurt people. That doesn’t excuse my behavior in any way, it’s something I’ve had to face and take full responsibility for,” he explained.

Jordan continued, “Over the past year, I’ve been in consistent therapy and doing the hard work to understand the impact of my actions and to grow into a healthier, safer, and more self aware person,” he said, adding that his focus now is on continuing to heal, being the best father and partner he can be, and ensuring those patterns never repeat.

“I have deep remorse for the hurt I caused and so much respect for Jessi’s strength in continuing to fight for our marriage and family,” he said.

How Does The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives Season 3 End?

By the end of Season 3, Jessi and Jordan sit down together again after their 90-day separation to discuss their future.

“I don’t feel quite ready to make this decision yet,” Jessi admits. “I don’t know if I’m ever going to feel fully settled in this, but I do know that prolonging the separation isn’t going to do much and I’m probably not going to get that feeling of clarity unless I try one way or the other.”

Meanwhile, Jordan tells his wife that the 90 days apart made him realize how much he loves her. “I want to make it work with you,” he says. “I believe that we both deserve to put what’s happened behind us and try to move forward from it.”

They also discuss their progress in therapy, where they learn that much of Jordan’s aggression “comes from childhood wounds,” Jessi says, adding that she understands him better now.

Jordan says he’s willing to work on their relationship, expressing that he wants their family to be whole again. But for Jessi — who says their culture places a lot of pressure on being perfect — those expectations sometimes make her feel “numb.”

“If I’m going to make the marriage work, I need to drop that, and I’m willing to do that because Jordan has made so many changes and I want to make sure that I’m doing the same thing,” she continues.

By the end of Season 3, Jessi asks Jordan if he’s ready to move back into their home, and he replies that he’s “over the moon” to try again. “I love you, and I’m glad that we’ve been able to work through things,” she tells him.

Are Jessie and Jordan From The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Still Together?

Yes, Jessi and Jordan from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives are currently together following the release of Season 3. In a recent interview with E! News, Jessi confirmed that she and her husband are no longer separated; however, they are still working on their relationship.

“We are back together,” she confirmed. “We’re trying to work on it. Relationships are not perfect. I think a situation like ours, it’s going to take time. It’s not going to something that’s just amazing overnight.”

Jessi added that she and Jordan are still in therapy. “We have our ups and downs, but we’re just showcasing our story, hoping it can help others and that they can relate to it ’cause it’s real,” the MomTok star continued.
