Shale energy play Devon Energy (DVN) shot up 9.6%, making DVN stock the top-performing S&P 500 stock on Thursday. U.S. crude energy prices leapt 8.4%, rebounding back above $100 a barrel.
SolarEdge Technologies (SEDG) fell 5.9%, making it the S&P 500’s worst performer on Thursday. The solar power firm said it would sell two million shares of SEDG stock.
