Deposits at small U.S. banks stabilized in the past week, fresh data from the Federal Reserve showed Friday, offering yet another sign that customer panic has eased since several regional banks collapsed.
Customer deposits totaled $5.39 trillion at small banks in the week ended March 22, the data showed—almost matching the $5.38 trillion deposits made in the prior week.
