‘Dancing With The Stars’ Dedication Night Songs And Dances—Who Will Be Honored?

Grab your tissues, because Dancing With the Stars is entering one of the most emotional weeks of the competition. The theme for Week 5 is Dedication Night, where the 10 remaining couples will honor important individuals in their lives with moving ballroom performances.

For the first time in the show’s 20-year history, the friends and family members chosen by each celebrity contestant will take part in their routines. The dance styles for the week include Contemporary, Foxtrot, Jive, Salsa, and Viennese Waltz.

Last week’s Disney Night saw magical performances from the celebrity dancers and their pro partners in in celebration of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary. Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas earned the first nine of the season, sending the pair to the top of the leaderboard for another week.

Unfortunately, Hilaria Baldwin and Gleb Savchenko were eliminated after receiving the lowest combined total of judges’ scores and viewer votes from Disney Night. The results shocked some viewers, as Hilaria earned at least one eight from the judges and Carrie Ann called her a “contender” for the Mirrorball.

Andy Richter and Emma Slater are at risk of going home tomorrow. The couple landed in the bottom two during Disney Night and have consistently scored at the bottom of the leaderboard in recent weeks. The Week 5 theme for the Oct. 14 episode of Dancing With the Stars is Dedication Night, an annual tradition where celebrity dancers honor important people in their lives.

The episode will feature a troupe performance to “Mystical Magical” by Benson Boone and “Man I Need” by Olivia Dean. There will also be pro performances to “Green Light” by Lorde, choreographed by Jenna Johnson and Britt Stewart, and “Back On 74” by Jungle, choreographed by Brandon Armstrong.
