Courtyard by Marriott, one of the 30 Marriott Bonvoy brands and the official hotel of the NFL, is launching two fall contests with some exciting prizes for sports fans. Dubbed the “This is Where We Fan” program, the first two contests have multiple chances to win prizes including a Thanksgiving “Fansgiving” Dinner on the 50-yard line of the home field for the New York Giants.
The first contest rewards lucky fans and their guests with an exclusive dinner on the 50-yard line one week before Thanksgiving along with a one-night hotel stay. Even those that don’t win can still take part in the experience by redeeming Marriott Bonvoy points for a select number of seats to this unique field-based dinner table. The contest closes on Oct. 15.
NFL running back Saquon Barkley is helping to kick off the contests, which come on the heels of Courtyard and Marriott Bonvoy signing a five-year exclusive deal with the NFL. Courtyard has been an official NFL hotel partner for 12 years.
The second contest is a regular fan favorite. The Courtyard Super Bowl Sleepover lets winners have the chance to spend the night inside the stadium during next year’s Super Bowl LVII weekend. To enter, NFL fans need to share their own personal football travel stories for the chance to win one of these special experiences along with a Courtyard hotel stay.
“Being away from your home team doesn’t mean you have to leave your fandom behind,” said Sarah Lipton, vice president, premium and select brand marketing at Marriott International. “Courtyard empowers fans to follow their passion for football – whether it’s traveling to see their team dominate in a new city, heading to a nearby stadium with a staycation at one of our hotels, or even rubbing elbows with rivals at our Bistro Bar. Courtyard is the place where fans can look forward to embracing their fandom.”
The sleepover contest opens Oct. 8 and will last until Nov. 18 with the winner chosen shortly after.
To enter either contest, fans can submit a video or photo explaining “where they fan” (like to watch football) and who with via social media channels TikTok, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #CourtyardFanContest and by tagging @CourtyardHotels.
The winner and a guest will enjoy a night in an exclusive stadium suite converted into a Courtyard-style guest room. They will wake up inside the stadium on Super Bowl Sunday ready and refreshed for the big game. Also part of the prize is a full weekend of football-themed activities for the winner and three friends like access to exclusive events as well as tickets to Super Bowl LVII.
Marriott will announce winners in phases throughout the fall season with the top prizes going to the most original and creative entries. The sleepover contest will have a phase of finalists, who will each advance to an interview round before the grand prize is announced in December.
Even if you don’t choose to participate in these contests, Courtyard by Marriott has a current Marriott Bonvoy promotion offering 2,000 bonus points for each night you stay between now and the end of the year at participating hotels. This is just one of the many hotel loyalty program promotions on offer this fall.
Marriott Bonvoy Moments offers another way that members can enjoy NFL experiences by redeeming their points for special access and game tickets. These include tickets to overseas NFL games in cities like London and Munich or behind-the-scenes access to a live taping of an NFL Network’s NFL Gameday show.
Points can also unlock special access to experiences at the Pro Bowl Games in Las Vegas in 2023, premier tickets to Super Bowl LVII and NFL Honors, and tickets to exclusive, VIP “Courtyard Row” seating at several stadiums for NFL games this season.
Whether you choose to redeem points or try your luck at one of these contests, Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott Bonvoy can help you get closer to the ultimate NFL experience.
