Coca-Cola (KO) closed at $69.90 on Thursday, 0.95% lower on the day.
Coca-Cola’s stock price has increased 18.69% so far this year, more than the 14.72% advance registered by the overall Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) index.
On Thursday, the DJIA rose by 0.37% to close at 43,239.05 points. The three leaders were Travelers (TRV), Chevron (CVX) and American Express (AXP), while the three laggards were Coca-Cola (KO), UnitedHealth (UNH) and Home Depot (HD).
Back to Coca-Cola, its latest earnings report from fiscal Q2 showed that earnings per share (EPS) were at $0.84. Revenue, meanwhile, stood at $12.31 billion.
The next earnings report for Coca-Cola will be published on October 23.
Analysts expect Coca-Cola’s earnings per share to come in at $0.75 for Q3, while revenue is seen at $11.66 billion.
