Can The U.S. Count On Germany Anymore?

Germany was once a stalwart U.S. ally and a global economic powerhouse. Not anymore. This episode of What’s Ahead examines why this is bad news for the Free World and a prosperous Europe.

Berlin has been turning a blind eye to the depredations of Vladimir Putin and to China’s growing aggression, refusing to effectively cooperate with Washington, as it would have done not so long ago. In fact, it has hindered attempts to get weapons to Ukraine.

Economically, the country is sluggish, with too-high taxes and excessive regulations. 

Germany must recall the things that made it so prosperous and secure after WWII.
