The Call Of Duty Endowment is a charity raising money to help place veterans in high-quality, high-paying jobs. I’ve written about CODE’s work before, and I think it’s one of the more uplifting stories in the video game industry.
Now, a new bundle is available in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2 that both honors female veterans and helps raise money to help all veterans find good jobs. The bundle is the second initiative this May, which is Military Appreciation Month.
The Valkyrie Pack includes:
- “The Valkyrie” Roze Operator Skin
- “Sting” Handgun Blueprint
- “Winged Warrior” Assault Rifle Blueprint
- “Eagle Driver” Light Helo Vehicle Skin
- “Brave” Weapon Charm
- “Remove Before Flight” Sticker
- “Tornado” Animated Emblem
- One Double Player XP Token
- One Double Weapon XP Token
This new pack comes on the heels of the Loot for Good event earlier this month. Players who extracted $30,000 from the DMZ helped raise $1 million in real USD for the Call Of Duty Endowment.
From the press release:
Since 2009, the nonprofit Call of Duty Endowment has helped more than 118,000 veterans find meaningful careers after their military service. The Endowment seeks to help U.S. and U.K. veterans find high-quality careers by supporting groups that prepare them for the job market and by raising awareness of the extraordinary value veterans bring to the workplace.
