BTS’s Suga Furthers His Lead Over Bandmates Jimin And J-Hope With Another Bestseller

BTS member Suga continues to make his mark on the Billboard charts with his latest collaboration with Halsey, titled “Lilith (Diablo IV Anthem).” The track, which is associated with the video game of the same name, quickly gained popularity among fans, leading to a surge in its sales the moment it was released. As a result, it entered several rock and alternative rankings on the Digital Song Sales chart and instantly became a success.

“Lilith (Diablo IV Anthem)” debuts at No. 5 on the current edition of the Digital Song Sales chart, propelling both Suga and Halsey back into the top 10. The chart ranks the bestselling songs in the United States based on digital sales. With over 7,000 copies sold, according to Luminate, Suga secures another individual achievement, further solidifying his position as the South Korean soloist with the most top 10 entries on the list.

With “Lilith (Diablo IV Anthem),” Suga now boasts a total of nine top 10 hits on the Digital Song Sales chart, distancing himself even further from his bandmates. Jimin and J-Hope, both fellow members of BTS, have each scored six top 10 smashes on this purchase-only tally. They are tied for the second-most placements among soloists from the nation on the sales ranking.

When considering all South Korean musical acts, BTS leads the way with an impressive 33 top 10 wins on the Digital Song Sales chart, and they’re not done yet. In fact, their latest single “Take Two” is expected to reach No. 1 in a few days, and it will only further add to their chart-topping achievements.

Among Suga’s nine top 10 hits on the Digital Song Sales chart, three have reached the pinnacle. These No. 1 hits were released under both his own name as Suga and also under the moniker Agust D, which he sometimes uses for his solo productions. In 2021, Suga achieved his first solo No. 1 with the track “Girl of My Dreams,” which was a collaboration with late rapper Juice WRLD.

Earlier this year, he reached the top again with South Korean star IU on “People Pt. 2.” He then achieved another solo No. 1 with “Haegeum.” Additionally, Suga has landed in the top 10 with tracks such as “Daechwita” and “That That,” featuring Psy. He also reached No. 10 with “Suga’s Interlude,” a song from Halsey’s album Manic that credited him and BTS separately.
