BTS has once again conquered the Billboard charts with their latest single, “Take Two,” as they reclaim the top spot on the Digital Song Sales ranking. The track quickly made its debut at No. 1, thanks to an impressive 31,000 (well, almost) pure purchases in the United States. This achievement not only marks their twelfth chart-topper on the Digital Song Sales chart but also solidifies their position among the elite few artists who have achieved such a milestone.
In fact, BTS has now surpassed some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Katy Perry, Beyoncé, and Eminem, breaking their tie with these iconic stars. Prior to this week, all four acts had charted 11 No. 1 hits on the Digital Song Sales chart, placing them on the same level. Now, with “Take Two,” the K-pop titans have surged ahead, at least for the time being, as any of their fellow chart-toppers could make a stunning return at any moment.
With their latest leader on the tally, BTS is now in sixth place on the ranking of artists with the most No. 1 hits in the history of the Digital Song Sales chart.
