Blackpink Star Lisa Is Back On The Hot 100 — And She’s Not Alone

It’s only been a few months since Lisa released her debut solo album Alter Ego. The Blackpink singer promoted the set with five singles, including collaborations with Rosalía, Doja Cat, and rapper Future. Now, she’s back with another new tune alongside Maroon 5, as “Priceless” becomes a hit across a variety of Billboard charts in the United States.

“Priceless” Debuts on Multiple Billboard Charts

“Priceless” appears on five Billboard rankings this week, three of which are based in America. The tune manages to crack the Hot 100, starting at No. 76 on the most competitive list of the most consumed songs in the country. At the same time, it earns a top 40 launching point on two of the three pop radio rankings, as the song opens at No. 17 on the Adult Pop Airplay list and No. 26 on the more competitive Pop Airplay tally.

Lisa and Maroon 5 Enjoy Global Success

Lisa and Maroon 5’s collaboration gets its start at No. 23 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., and it narrowly manages to become a top 40 success on the Billboard Global 200. On that latter ranking — which includes consumption data from everywhere around the world, while the former doesn’t take into consideration any streams or sales from America — the duet enters at No. 40.

“Priceless” Adds to Lisa’s Solo Wins

The number of hits Lisa has collected under her own name varies widely between the charts where she debuts this frame. She’s accrued the fewest successes on the Adult Pop Airplay tally, as “Priceless” marks just her third time reaching that radio ranking.

She’s earned the most hits on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., where her Maroon 5 collaboration becomes her eleventh win. She has also managed to collect double-digit appearances on the Billboard Global 200, where “Priceless” is now her milestone tenth hit.

A First for Lisa on the Hot 100

“Priceless” marks a special first for Lisa, though it does not give the singer her first win on any of the tallies on which it debuts. Typically, Lisa is credited as the lead artist, as she has only been named as a featured act on a handful of tunes in the past. Before her Maroon 5 duet, none of those previous efforts reached the Hot 100.

Her team-up with the pop band proves her to be a superstar — the kind that can help create a real hit in America, even if only for a moment.
