Victoria, Seychelles, October 22, 2025 — Bitget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange (UEX), announces its continued collaboration with the Google Developer Group (GDG).
Bitget and GDG will host the second hackathon, “AI Accelerate Hack.” The hackathon supports Bitget’s Blockchain4Youth CSR initiative. KU Leuven in Belgium will host the event on Wednesday, 29th October 2025.
The 10-hour hackathon supports young talents. It encourages them to use innovative tools. Participants will build solutions that shape the future of technology.
The hackathon highlights the theme: “Fueling fast-paced innovation through the synergy of technology, business, and creativity.”
The “AI Accelerate Hack” offers a high-energy, collaborative competition. Developers and designers will team up to solve real-world business challenges. They will create innovative, tech-driven solutions. The event will unite 200 participants from diverse backgrounds.
“Our Blockchain4Youth programs keep on growing and expanding worldwide. Such hackathons are a great opportunity to interact with promising students, share our expertise as mentors, and continuously build our community via shared knowledge,” said Vugar Usi Zade, COO of Bitget.
“Partnering with Bitget for the ‘AI Accelerate Hack’ aligns perfectly with our mission to empower the next generation of developers,” said Daniel Sparemblek, President and Founder at the Google Developer Group (GDG) KU Leuven. “This event is a unique platform where academic theory meets real-world business challenges, pushing students to innovate at the intersection of AI, blockchain, and creativity.”
Inclusive Participation and Full-Day Agenda at AI Accelerate Hack
The hackathon targets Master’s students in Computer Engineering and related fields. It emphasizes Artificial Intelligence. Organizers also welcome students from other academic backgrounds. Recent graduates with up to two years of experience are welcome to join. Enthusiastic tech experts are also encouraged to participate.
The event begins with a short opening ceremony. Bitget will present the Blockchain4Youth initiative. Bitget will also introduce its new Graduate Program. This program recruits top university talent. It places graduates directly into real Web3 workstreams.
Graduates join one of the world’s fastest-growing exchanges. They collaborate with colleagues from over 50 countries. They follow a clear development path. This path includes rotations, mentorship, and competitive pay. Graduates also have the opportunity to venture onto the frontier.
The organizers will follow the opening ceremony with the core 10-hour hacking period. Groups will present their final projects in the evening, when awards will be distributed to the winning teams.
Expanding Global Impact Through Blockchain4Youth and Collaborative Innovation
This event marks the second collaboration between Bitget and GDG. Bitget and GDG previously hosted a successful hackathon in May at Constructor University. The current event plays a key role in Bitget’s Blockchain4Youth initiative.
Bitget runs several global programs under this initiative. These programs aim to spread education and knowledge about the blockchain sector.
Bitget recently hosted a Web3 diversity career session at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) on 20 September. Bitget and the 0xU student community jointly organized this event. In August, Bitget organized its third Crypto Experience Month.
The initiative delivered educational activities across 12 countries. It reached over 15,000 participants. Looking ahead, the initiative will feature the WAIB Summit AI x Web3 Hackathon.
This three-day event will run from November 14 to 16 at KU Leuven. It will bring together students, developers, entrepreneurs, and researchers. Participants will collaborate to build groundbreaking solutions at the forefront of artificial intelligence and Web3.
