The Alpine 2023 Esports Series has started, and the qualification round has already concluded. Thirty-five drivers have made it past the qualifying round, and they will now compete in Round 2 and Round 3 of the virtual race. What makes this event interesting is Binance enters into the picture as a sponsor.
The remaining rounds of the race will be streamed live on Twitch, and viewers stand a chance to win big prizes courtesy of Binance. One of the prizes is an NFT Gift Box that will be randomly generated after viewers scan the QR code.
Boxes will contain one of the four rarity levels, namely Normal, Rare, Super Rare, and Super Super Rare.
The box will be distributed on a First-Come-First-Serve basis. All viewers have to do is tune into any one of the three broadcasts.
Different Gift Boxes contain different prizes. For instance, some of them may have autographed merchandise or a fan experience that is exclusively available to them. Importantly, the holders of the Gift Box stand a chance to claim a fair share of the prize pool, which is worth $25,000.
Viewers who are interested but cannot make it to the event can alternatively refer a friend to win one of the six-thousand boxes. Viewers can refer a friend anytime from April 25, 2023, 10:00 UTC, to May 25, 2023, 18:00 UTC. The gift box will appear when they complete the user verification through the personal referral link that is generated from the event page.
Another way to win a prize is by holding onto a minimum of 10 ALPINE tokens. This could very well see the holders leave the event with one of the ten-thousand gift boxes. These will also be rolled out on a First-Come-First-Serve basis.
Drivers have a lot to race for too. Alpine A110 GT4 will give away a share of the $60,000 prize pool, with the fastest racer grabbing the highest share. Given below are the details of the Calendar dates of the racing rounds on Alpine Twitch.
Round | Race | Date | Time |
1 | 1 and 2 | April 27, 2023 | 18:30 UTC |
2 | 3 and 4 | May 11, 2023 | 18:30 UTC |
3 | 5 and 6 | May 25, 2023 | 18:30 UTC |
All the rounds will be live-streamed at Alpine Twitch.
The previous edition of the eSport event was also powered by Binance. Viewers were showered with an exclusive Binance Alpine GT4 POAP NFT. The Proof of Attendance Protocol was accompanied by a share of a prize pool that was worth $10,000 in Alpine Fan Token. Binance Alpine GT4 NFT Mystery Box was awarded to the holders who had all five POAP NFTs.
As per the Binance, a leading crypto exchange, there are two types of accounts, including basic and advanced. Users who have not yet made their accounts in Binance can make one and get done with the identity verification process.
Having said that, Binance and Alpine Esports Series joined hands earlier, and it was a huge success. The year 2023 brings another opportunity for both partners to showcase how much they have evolved when it comes to rewarding the community for sticking around.
