Binance Futures, the world’s leading crypto derivatives exchange, has announced the return of its trading competition – the Binance Futures Grand Tournament, with a massive prize pool of up to $2 million in USDT.

The tournament, which will start today, November 27, and ends on December 24, 2023, will consist of four weeks of intense trading action across crypto futures and copy trading. It will also feature team battles and individual contests, making it the most diverse and rewarding competition in the history of the Binance Futures Grand Tournament.

According to the announcement, there are four main competition categories:

1. The Team Competition, which is the main event where teams of traders will compete for a share of a $1.25 million prize pool, based on their profit and loss performance in crypto futures. The teams will be ranked on “Team Daily PNL”, which is the combined profit and loss of members’ top 10 performing futures traders. The winning team will receive 20% of the $1.25 million allocation, with prizes going down to the top 20 teams.
2. Copy Trading Competition, where traders can earn money by becoming “Lead Traders” on Binance’s copy trading platform. Lead traders will compete based on strategy profitability for $350,000 in prizes. Moreover, their followers can also win a portion of prizes through a weekly voting system.

Trading Bots Competition: Participants who create high-performing futures grid trading bots on Binance can win a piece of $200,000 in prizes allocated to the top-ranking bots.

Newcomers Welcome Rewards: New Binance Futures traders who reach minimum trading volumes will split a $200,000 welcome bonus prize pool, with one lucky newcomer also receiving 1 BNB.

The Binance Futures Grand Tournament follows the launch of Binance Copy Trading last month, which allows futures traders to automatically copy positions opened by Lead Traders. 

Binance CEO and founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao also took to social media X on Oct, 9 2023, to announce the upgrade. According to him, the newly launched copy trading platform will allow traders of all skill levels to replicate the strategies of Binance’s top master traders. 

In the dedicated dashboard that was created, crypto traders can browse and select the best “master traders” to copy based on key metrics and background information to ensure maximum transparency.

The tournament kicked off today with a week-long “Early Bird” challenge where traders can earn Binance Coupon Vouchers. The main competition phase then runs for 3 weeks from December 4 to 24.
