LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – FEBRUARY 25: Billie Eilish at Apple’s “Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little … More
All three of Billie Eilish’s full-length albums appear on the Billboard 200 this week, a scene that’s become fairly typical for the superstar over the past year or so. It’s not unusual for almost her entire discography to live near one another on the ranking of the most-consumed albums in the United States, as her hugely successful catalog continues to sell and stream exceptionally well — even years after some of the titles were first released.
As Americans continue pressing play on all the full-lengths Eilish has delivered, one of her sets reaches a special milestone, and its presence only further underscores its neverending popularity.
Billie Eilish’s Happier Than Ever Hits 200 Weeks
Happier Than Ever has now spent exactly 200 weeks on the Billboard 200. It reaches that milestone as it dips slightly to No. 138 this frame. The set, Eilish’s sophomore release, moved another 10,500 equivalent units last week (per Luminate). That sum includes a little more than 2,200 pure purchases, as streams are largely to thank for its presence on the Billboard 200.
Happier Than Ever on the Billboard Charts
Happier Than Ever, which dropped in 2021, also manages to ascend on the only two other Billboard rankings where it’s found at the moment. This frame, it climbs one spot to No. 17 on the Top Alternative Albums list and two spaces to No. 30 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums roster.
While it hits 200 weeks on the Billboard 200, Happier Than Ever needs less than a month to reach that landmark on the Top Alternative Albums list. But it will be almost another year before it does so on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums ranking.
Billie Eilish’s Discography Dominates the Billboard 200
Both When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and Hit Me Hard and Soft – her other two full-lengths – also appear on the Billboard 200. Of those two, only her debut studio effort has cracked 200 frames, as it’s now up to 323 weeks on the tally.
Hit Me Hard and Soft, Eilish’s latest project, recently passed its first full year on the ranking. It currently slips just outside the top 10, falling from No. 9 to No. 13. The bestseller and hits-laden set will likely hold on for years to come, perhaps eventually becoming her fourth 200-week charter someday.
Eilish’s Don’t Smile at Me EP, which first brought Eilish to the Billboard 200 in 2017, has racked up 269 appearances on the list so far, though it doesn’t commonly make a home on this tally.
