Billie Eilish’s Album Surges A Year After It First Became A Bestseller

Just over a year after Hit Me Hard and Soft, Billie Eilish’s latest album, debuted on charts in the United Kingdom, the project is suddenly rising again. The full-length largely hasn’t disappeared since its arrival in the spring of 2024, but at the moment, the Grammy-nominated set is climbing on multiple tallies. It even manages to return to one as it becomes a bestselling release across a variety of formats once more.

Purchases of Hit Me Hard and Soft Surge

Sales of Hit Me Hard and Soft have clearly grown in the U.K. recently, as Eilish’s collection returns to the top 40 on a trio of lists focused solely on purchases. Hit Me Hard and Soft rises more than 20 spaces on both the Official Physical Albums and Official Albums Sales charts, landing, coincidentally, at No. 40 on both at the same time. Eilish also reenters the Official Vinyl Albums ranking at No. 33 with her 2024 effort.

Sales Drive the Album Higher

All those purchases help Hit Me Hard and Soft climb a single spot on the Official Albums chart, which ranks the most consumed projects in the nation. Sales are largely to thank, as the title drops slightly on the Official Albums Streaming ranking, dipping just one space from No. 19 to No. 20.

Hit Me Hard and Soft’s Lifespan on the Charts

Hit Me Hard and Soft has now spent 58 weeks on all but one of the tallies in the U.K. where it can currently be found. The set has only missed that mark on the Official Vinyl Albums chart, where it’s now up to 45 frames as it returns.

Happier Than Ever Rises Again

Sales of two of Eilish’s full-lengths are growing in the U.K., as Happier Than Ever also jumps on the Official Physical Albums and Official Albums Sales rankings, appearing at Nos. 64 and 66, respectively. Last week, the singer-songwriter’s sophomore studio effort appeared below the No. 80 mark.

Billie Eilish’s Catalog May Continue to Climb

Eilish’s entire catalog may continue to grow in the U.K. as she is about to touch down in England for a string of shows. The singer is preparing for half a dozen dates at The O2 Arena in London, and then four nights in Manchester before heading to Dublin, Asia, and back to the United States for another leg.
