Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter reenters three U.K. charts as her European tour kicks off, where she’s … More
Beyoncé shocked millions around the world when she dropped her album Cowboy Carter in March 2024. The global powerhouse had already revealed that she was pivoting from the R&B, hip-hop, and pop music she’d been making for decades into country, but the set was still a revelation.
When the full-length arrived, it was heralded as yet another artistic triumph. In the year-plus since its release, Cowboy Carter has risen and fallen on charts across the globe, enjoying an initial commercial run before returning to tallies in several nations. The album’s success continued through various releases, a triumph at the Grammys, and now once more — especially in the United Kingdom — as her Cowboy Carter Tour touches down in Europe.
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Returns to the Charts
Cowboy Carter returns to three charts in the U.K. this week. The set reappears highest on the Official Albums Streaming ranking, coming in at No. 79. It lands in nearly the same position on both the Official Albums ranking — the list of the most consumed projects in the nation — and the Official Album Downloads roster, where it settles at Nos. 85 and 87, respectively.
The Cowboy Carter Tour Boosts Beyoncé
Beyoncé kicked off the European leg of her Cowboy Carter Tour on June 5, when she played to a massive crowd in London – the first of several. The singer is scheduled to perform six nights at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with days off in between each show. Her arrival in the U.K. — and the excitement surrounding the Cowboy Carter Tour — was easily enough to push the title back onto these lists.
Cowboy Carter Continues Its Impressive Run
Throughout its lifetime, Cowboy Carter has yet to reach 20 weeks on any of the three tallies it currently appears on, and it has collected all of those stays across a number of different runs. It has already topped each and every one of them at some point since its release.
