Benson Boone Pushes Multiple Singles To New Chart Peaks

In a little less than a month, Benson Boone will release his sophomore album, American Heart. In an effort to build excitement for the upcoming full-length, the pop singer has already shared two singles from the project – “Mystical Magical” and “Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else.” Both tracks have been welcomed warmly in the United Kingdom, and this week, they managed to climb higher on the charts — and fans seem to have decided on a favorite between the two.

“Mystical Magical” and “Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else”

“Mystical Magical” and “Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else” both rise on the Official Singles chart, which ranks the most consumed tracks in the U.K. by blending sales and streaming activity. While purchases for both cuts appear to be on the decline, that hasn’t stopped either from climbing the general list this frame.

“Mystical Magical” steps up three spots to No. 13. “Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else” moves ahead four spaces to No. 20. In both cases, the tracks hit new peaks.

Benson Boone’s Newer Single is the Bigger Hit

It’s clear that “Mystical Magical” is the bigger tune and the more exciting win between the two. Not only does it rise higher than Boone’s other cut, but it’s also much newer. “Mystical Magical” has spent only three weeks on the Official Singles chart, while “Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else” is now in its eleventh frame — and still manages to peak in a lower position.

Both “Mystical Magical” and “Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else” appear on the same four tallies. In addition to the Official Singles chart, they also land on rankings dedicated solely to streaming, general sales, and downloads. The tracks are slipping when it comes to purchases, but “Mystical Magical” jumps to a new high of No. 28 on the Official Streaming chart. “Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else” slides just one spot from its all-time best showing, though it still holds on inside the top 40.

“Beautiful Things” is the Top Hit Right Now

Boone’s breakout hit “Beautiful Things” beats both “Mystical Magical” and “Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else” on every ranking. It remains a top 10 hit on both the Official Singles chart and the Official Streaming roster, and even sees a lift on the two sales tallies.
