Bankrupt cryptocurrency broker and lender Voyager Digital Ltd. said it has resumed its search for a buyer in light of the collapse of crypto exchange FTX, the firm founded by wunderkind Sam Bankman-Fried that was slated to buy Voyager’s customer accounts out of chapter 11.
FTX’s deal to buy Voyager, the first major crypto platform to file for bankruptcy after market turmoil earlier this year, was expected to provide the firm with a path out of chapter 11 and restore Voyager customers’ access to their digital coins, but FTX filed for chapter 11 itself on Friday.
