Axie Infinity and its Progressive Development Growth
With the progressive growth journey of Axie Infinity, it has mentioned its various development phases. As per its official blog, “Axie Infinity: Legends” was first launched on IOS on May 17th. Initially, in a few selected countries including Asian and LATAM countries, the online game spread its wings.
This was the first time Apple, the tech-firm, allowed external NFTs to function in its ecosystem. Players can use their own NFT axis or play with starter Axies in both adventure and arena modes.
Moreover, on the same day, the gaming platform also launched Ronin’s 1st generalized NFT marketplace, Mavis Markets in which the game developers can use to distribute their NFT collections on Ronin. RON is used as the currency on Ronin. The first-ever listings included Axie Doll and Axie ChatPremium NFT. It was created by the community and already had a trading volume of over 30000 RON.
In the same month, Avatar Forge was launched, which allowed users to create their own avatars using their Axies on the game’s app.
In the later weeks, Atia’s blessing was launched on the app by merging Air lore and Origins gameplay with the goal of increasing the moon shard percentage the players receive by playing ranked battles in Origins. To increase their rewards, players must seek Atia’s blessings on Atia’s shrine every day.
Arena mode animations have been increased to 1.35x in season 4 of Origins, and this comes after the success of Blitz mode. Meanwhile, Fortune chests were unveiled in order to announce the start of the Filipino Fiesta Contest starting on 8th June. There’s a 50% chance of every chick rank or above player to earn a fortune chest when they win a ranked stamina battle.
There were significant upgrades in the “Axie Infinity: Homeland Alpha season 2.” Homeland is a strategy-based game, where players ask for a hassle-free way for getting their statuses, monitoring their activities, and building their progress.
The Task Management Board has made it easier for the players to keep track of the activities happening in their plot. They’ve also created a system that records adventure stats, prices, and more all at one place for better access.
In the next season, an element of PvP can be seen, where players can send an NPC named “Ragoon” to spy on fellow players. Axie Experience Points (AXP) and on-chain leveling will be coming out in the next few months, while AXP will be non-transferable.
