Atomic Wallet recently announced support for Shibarium, the L2 chain by Shiba Inu. The announcement was made on the official X/Twitter accounts of Shiba Inu and Atomic Wallet.
Shiba Inu gave a shoutout to Atomic Wallet for exposing Shibarium to 5 million+ users. The integration has also supported SHIB, LEASH, and BONE tokens on Atomic Wallet. The official tweet on Atomic Wallet’s X also read the same information.
Given Shiba Inu’s popularity, the announcement intrigued crypto enthusiasts about Atomic Wallet. Many SHIB holders even looked for an Atomic Wallet review to learn about its operations.
Although the official announcement was made recently, a key Shiba Inu marketer teased the integration weeks ago. Lucie, the specialist, stated that SHIB holders have decided to join hands with Atomic Wallet.
Atomic Wallet originally expressed its willingness to support Shibarium back in January 2023. However, the non-custodial wallet had to wait till August 16th for Shibarium’s mainnet launch. It took Atomic Wallet another couple of months to announce the official integration.
With more than 500,000 monthly active users, Atomic Wallet can expand Shiba Inu’s reach across the market. Since its launch in 2017, Atomic Wallet has offered secured storage for 1,000+ cryptocurrencies.
Meanwhile, Shibarium has been breaking records ever since its mainnet launch. The blockchain has already processed over 3.78 million transactions. The network has also recorded over 1.25 million wallets with 1.47 million blocks.
With an average block time of 5 seconds, Shibarium is one of the fastest Layer 2 blockchains on Ethereum. Such properties are the primary reason platforms like Atomic Wallet, and GroveX extend support for Shibarium.
Given both parties’ capabilities and market reputation, their recent collaboration is expected to be a success.
