ASI Alliance To Deploy FET On Cardano, How It Impacts Price?

The Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Alliance project has announced the deployment of its native token, FET, on the Cardano blockchain. This deployment signals a significant step toward creating a decentralized and ethical AI ecosystem.

FET on Cardano: A Milestone for Decentralized AI

In an article shared with the community on X, ASI Alliance stated that this collaboration has strengthened its network. It plans to leverage Cardano’s advanced and secure infrastructure to achieve its goals.

With Cardano launching its Chang hard fork on the mainnet, it is further positioned to power the ASI Alliance AI innovation. The milestone development will use various tools to improve FET’s interoperability across major blockchain networks.

Following this maiden deployment of FET as a Cardano Native Token (CNT), additional features will roll out throughout September. Several on-chain ASI products will be introduced to maximize the Cardano Plutus Core infrastructure.

Other developments will include a ticker change from FET to ASI to establish uniqueness. This FET deployment will eventually replace all existing AGIX native Cardano tokens.

Meanwhile, users have been assured that the changes will be reflected in the coming days. Furthermore, a migration tool supports the direct conversion of AGIX to FET to ensure seamless migration for Cardano users.

ASI Alliance Collaboration for Decentralized AI Development

This deployment on Cardano resulted from a collaboration between three leading artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain protocols. These include Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol.

These three protocols have evolved to become the largest open-sourced, independent AI research and development entity. Their commitment centers primarily on fast-tracking the evolution of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and, subsequently, Artificial Superintelligence (ASI).

Notably, the collaboration’s core mission and vision are to ensure everyone’s accessibility to AGI. As such, it removes control from the hands of a single entity, corporation, or nation.

This will ensure true decentralization, inclusivity, and a democratic governance structure. Ben Goertzel, CEO of SingularityNET, maintains the idea is to ensure AGI benefits the broader human society.

Different groups of researchers, scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, and marketers will work together to achieve this mission. Their focus areas include finance, robotics, biomedical AI, and media.

Commenting on the deployment of FET on Cardano, Goertzel said the low cost, high speed, and top security of the Cardano infrastructure were some of the deciding factors. He remains optimistic that the platform’s tools and software will help usher in the switch from AI applications to AGI and Superintelligence.

Impact of Deployment on FET and ADA Price Outlook

The deployment on the Cardano blockchain has triggered positive market sentiments for FET, which traded for $1.07, a 0.75% increase in the last 24 hours. Similarly, Cardano price registered a 3.27% increase to exchange hands at $0.3253.

Analysts consider this a notable improvement for FET, which has seen a significant downturn in the past few months. Despite a price rebound in the broader crypto market, FET lost over 60% of its value in the three months to August.
