Grand Prix Singapore Season (GPSS) is hosting a Web3 event that will dive deeper into the media and entertainment revolution that is currently happening on the blockchain. The event will be hosted during race week for the Singapore Grand Prix, showcasing the breadth of use cases that have been unlocked by decentralized technologies and featuring a diverse panel of experts who will shed more light on the industry’s vast potential.
Among the event’s attendees will be leaders from PwC, Warner Music Singapore and ONE Championship. The host, Affyn, is a Singaporean company that is building a blockchain-based multiverse for media and entertainment. They will be showcasing their latest play-to-earn title, Buddy Arena, at the event.

The event, sponsored by Grand Prix Singapore Season and Singapore Tourism Board, will host a variety of initiatives designed to showcase the exciting potential of blockchain-based media.
‘Exhibition Zone: Unveiling the Digital Art Frontier’ will feature some of Web3’s most talented digital artists. Shavonne Wong, Aik Beng Chia and The Hidden Walls will be in attendance as the exhibit focuses on the evolution of art and brings the disruptive potential of NFT technologies into full view.
Affyn will also be revealing its new Web3 game, Buddy Arena. The multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game will be open to players during the event, providing an interactive experience that lets guests take part and try out the gameplay for the very first time.
Discussing the transformative potential of Web3 with a diverse panel of business leaders
In addition to showcasing different projects within Web3’s decentralized media and entertainment movement, “Art Meets Metaverse” will host a panel of business leaders from major global corporations, including Warner Music Singapore, ONE Championship, and PwC.
The panel will shed light on the transformational potential of blockchain-based entertainment, covering actionable strategies for how to navigate the fast-changing landscape of the digital world and providing insight into how the blockchain is shaping this future.
