Ariana Grande’s Duets With One Fellow Star Help Her Surge Globally

Ariana Grande is only a few months removed from re-releasing her album Eternal Sunshine as a deluxe edition titled Brighter Days Ahead, which includes several new cuts — among them her latest single, “Twilight Zone.” While that tune continues to connect with listeners in the United States, a trio of Grande’s hits are climbing on Billboard’s two global rankings.

Ariana Grande Claims Four Global Hits

Grande currently occupies three spaces on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts, with two-thirds of those smashes coming from her working relationship with frequent collaborator The Weeknd.

Her biggest worldwide success at the moment, “Save Your Tears” with The Weeknd, rises from No. 86 to No. 73 on the Billboard Global 200. On the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, it jumps 16 spots to No. 60.

Another joint hit with The Weeknd, “Die for You,” is also on the move. On the Billboard Global 200, it surges more than 20 spots, while on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, it creeps up three spaces. The track began as a solo single for The Weeknd before receiving a lift from Grande’s remix.

“We Can’t Be Friends” Continues to Climb

Grande’s own “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” is also rising. Last frame, it sat at No. 196 on both global tallies. It now improves to No. 180 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 181 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S.

Ariana Grande’s Global No. 1s

Both “Save Your Tears” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” have ruled the Billboard Global 200, with the latter also topping the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. “Die for You” previously reached the top three on both lists.

All three tracks have now spent at least a year on the global rankings, with “Save Your Tears” having already passed 200 weeks, making it one of the longest-charting tunes on the worldwide roster.

“Twilight Zone” Keeps Rising

In the U.S., “Twilight Zone” continues its upward trajectory. The track hits a new peak of No. 21 on Billboard’s Radio Songs chart and returns to its high point of No. 5 on the Pop Airplay list. The catchy, low-key pop tune holds steady at No. 29 on the Adult Pop Airplay ranking, dips slightly from No. 20 to No. 21 on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, and climbs on the Hot 100 from No. 81 to No. 70.
