In TRON: Ares, Lee and Peters play Eve Kim and Julian Dillinger, two artificial intelligence corporation heads who have different ideas for the use of AI. Eve is hoping to use AI to create global resources, while Julian is using it to produce military grade soldiers and weapons. However, until one of them can crack the “permanence code,” their 3D-printed digital constructs only last 29 minutes in the real world.

One of Julian’s soldiers is Ares (Leto), whose motives change once he is made permanent. Anderson plays Julian’s mother and corporation executive Elisabeth Dillinger, while Bridges reprises his classic role of Kevin Flynn.

Walt Disney Home Entertainment announced in a press release on Tuesday that TRON: Ares will be released on digital streaming via premium video on demand on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
