Alan Jackson’s “Remember When” climbs to No. 13 on iTunes after an emotional ACM Awards performance, … More
Alan Jackson had a big night at the 2025 ACMs, the Academy of Country Music Awards. The country superstar was on hand to both perform and accept not just a prize, but one named after him. He was the first recipient of the newly-introduced Alan Jackson Lifetime Achievement Award.
The singer-songwriter received a warm welcome from the crowd, as many in the music industry know that Jackson is battling health issues that have slowed his career and limited his ability to perform. The day after the 2025 ACMs, interest in Jackson’s catalog has surged, as people across the U.S. were reminded once again of how much they love his music.
Alan Jackson’s Albums on iTunes
Jackson currently claims three spots on the iTunes Top Albums chart in the U.S. His top-selling full-length in the country at the moment is 34 Number Ones, a compilation that gathers together most of his biggest hits. It is now a top 40 bestseller again, as it climbs to No. 39.
Another singles-packed collection, Greatest Hits Volume 2, is also present, landing at No. 103. His gospel release Precious Memories also manages to find space on the 200-spot roster, coming in at No. 118.
Alan Jackson’s “Remember When”
Only one of Jackson’s singles is selling well enough to appear on the iTunes Top Songs list at present. The country musician performed his decades-old classic “Remember When” during the telecast in what turned out to be a must-see emotional moment. The beloved country tune has almost found its way back inside the top 10, as it has thus far surged to No. 13, as of the time of writing. In the coming hours, it’s very possible Jackson will find himself back inside the highest tier on the iTunes tally — quite the feat for a musician who doesn’t have anything new out.
“Remember When” Powering Greatest Hits Volume 2
“Remember When” is helping power the success of Greatest Hits Volume 2. The track was the second and final single from the compilation, and was pushed in October 2003. It followed the smash “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” a duet with Jimmy Buffett that also turned out to be a huge commercial win. Both tunes dominated the Hot Country Songs chart and performed well on the Hot 100 as well.
