Act Fast, PlayStation Plus Is About To Lose 19 Free Games Forever

PlayStation Plus subscribers have mere hours—not days—to claim 19 free games offered through the PS Plus Collection that will no longer be free starting tomorrow, May 9th.

The games, all of which are PS4 titles, have been available to PS5 owners who also subscribe to any tier of PlayStation Plus, since 2020 and the launch of the PlayStation 5.

Sony announced the removal of these titles several months ago. It’s definitely bad news for anyone just getting a PS5 or just signing up to PlayStation Plus, but also for people who didn’t realize that these were freely available or maybe just assumed they would always be a PS Plus benefit.

Some of these titles, like Bloodborne and God Of War rank among the very best PS4 games ever released. Same goes for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and The Last Of Us Remastered (though the new Last Of Us PS5 remake is even prettier). Batman: Arkham Knight, Final Fantasy XVI, Fallout 4 and various other third-party games will also disappear beginning tomorrow.

The following games will no longer be part of PS Plus beginning tomorrow:

Games from PlayStation Worldwide Studios:

  • Bloodborne
  • Days Gone
  • Detroit: Become Human
  • God of War
  • Infamous Second Son
  • Ratchet and Clank
  • The Last Guardian
  • The Last of Us Remastered
  • Until Dawn
  • Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

Third-party games:

  • Batman: Arkham Knight
  • Battlefield 1
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops III – Zombies Chronicles Edition
  • Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
  • Fallout 4
  • Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition
  • Monster Hunter: World
  • Mortal Kombat X
  • Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

Act fast! Go claim these right now before it’s too late. If you’re not sure whether or not you’ve claimed them, double check. You don’t have to download them right now, you just have to add them to your library. It’s easy, and it would be a shame to miss out on Bloodborne, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, God Of War, Uncharted 4 and all the rest of these excellent titles.
