As the SEC-Ripple case nears its end, analysts expected a price surge for XRP, but the cryptocurrency has not experienced the anticipated movement.
However, Bitwise, a $12 billion asset management firm, has released a detailed price forecast for XRP through 2025 and beyond, offering three potential scenarios: maximum price, bull, and bear.
Maximum Price Scenario
In Bitwise’s maximum price scenario, XRP could reach $4.48 in 2025, followed by $6.53 in 2026, and $9.60 in 2027. By 2028, the firm expects XRP to trade at $13.84, climbing to $20.14 in 2029, and hitting $29.32 by 2030.
This optimistic scenario is based on XRP capturing a significant share of the payment and tokenization markets.
Bull Scenario
Under the bull scenario, Bitwise projects a more moderate growth trajectory. Using an annual return formula of 27%, the firm predicts that XRP will rise to $3.90 in 2025, $4.94 in 2026, and $6.25 in 2027.
By 2028, XRP is expected to reach $7.91, then climb into the double-digit range with $10.02 in 2029, and peak at $12.68 in 2030.
Bear Scenario
On the flip side, the bear scenario paints a much more conservative outlook for XRP. In this scenario, Bitwise forecasts that XRP will close at $1.82 in 2025, falling further to $1.07 in 2026, and $0.63 by 2027. The decline continues, with XRP predicted to end 2028 at $0.37, 2029 at $0.22, and 2030 at $0.13.
